Three that actually happened
The video call is the attack now.

Every colleague on the call was synthetic.
A finance employee at the group's Hong Kong office had already been suspicious of an email requesting a confidential transaction. Then he joined a video conference with people he took to be the group CFO and several colleagues, and made 15 transfers in a single day. Every other face and voice on that call was generated from the executives' publicly available conference footage. The money was never recovered.

Caught only because someone asked about a book.
An executive took messages and then a call from a voice clone of his own CEO, accent and mannerisms intact, pushing an urgent acquisition NDA. He asked the caller which book the CEO had recommended to him recently. The caller hung up. That improvised trivia question was the entire defence.

A meeting invite, a cloned voice, footage off YouTube.
Attackers set up a messaging account in the group CEO's name, then ran a video meeting using a voice clone and footage lifted from YouTube, to solicit money and personal details from one of the group's agency heads. It failed. It also cost nothing to attempt, and nothing to attempt again.

Deloitte's Center for Financial Services projects generative-AI-enabled fraud losses in the US rising from $12.3bn in 2023 to $40bn by 2027. Two of the three attempts above were beaten by one alert person improvising. That is not a control you can put in a policy.
What happens instead

Four things happen before anyone is in the room. The participant sees a camera prompt instead of a lobby; the host sees nothing to police.

A few seconds in front of the camera confirms a real, present person — not a printed photo, a screen held up to the lens, or a mask.

The face is matched, if you asked for it
On rooms you set that way, the face has to belong to someone your organisation enrolled. Either way the decision is written down.

Only then does the door open
With access that expires on its own. There is no password to steal, and a leaked link by itself gets nobody in.

- "Where does our data live?"
- One region, chosen by you, and it does not leave. Ireland first. You answer your regulator without having to ask us anything.
- "Prove who was in that room."
- Each admission is signed as it happens, into a log nothing can edit afterwards — not your admins, not ours. It is evidence, not an attendance list.
- "What happens when we reject your biometrics vendor?"
- You pick a different one, per organisation, and nothing else changes. Your security review does not become our roadmap.
